It goes

Well, still dealing with pain then no-pain in my back.  Really weird if you ask me.  But it’s much better than constant pain.

My friend from chat decided against joining the Mumble D&D game, so instead my brother is joining us.  This, in my opinion, is way cool.  My brother hasn’t played for many years (more than I hadn’t played) and has no knowledge of 5e.  But it’s all good, I sent him .pdf of the player’s handbook and that is the only book he really needs.  He has decided to play a cleric, which is cool since the npc I was playing with the party is a cleric.  He also might just be crazy enough to fit in with the group we have now.

Kinda disappointed that only 1 of my friends showed up for the party yesterday.  The 2 who hadn’t showed up by 7:45 never did show up.  But hey, it was my brother’s party, and he had a decent showing of friends, so I am happy for him.

Didn’t do lunch with Jenny today, she still has too much going on with her daughter getting married next Saturday and her niece graduating today.  It’s all good there.  She is gonna stop by here on Tuesday after work maybe.  Again, if she has to cancel for her daughters wedding impending, I am totally cool with it.

I thought Laura was gonna call me today to confirm dinner tomorrow.  She didn’t, so as of now I don’t really know if I have dinner plans tomorrow night or not.

I really am enjoying spending time with my mom and brother.  I miss them so much when I’m at home.  I don’t get to see them nearly enough and calling on the phone isn’t the same as being with them.

I really appreciate Jimmy taking 3 days off (plus 2 for his weekend) to hang out with me.  He is a very money conscious guy, and the overtime he normally gets is gone for the days he took of vacation.  So big thanks to him for being a cool brother.

However, I am looking forward to going home on Wednesday.  I am missing Teresa and the doggies.  I am missing my big computer and our big comfy bed.  Not looking forward to the bus though.  I totally hate the bus.  I had to buy my bus ticket tonight.  The bus will take me to Midway Airport for the long (time wise) trip home.

Watching the Cubs game with my mom is funny.  She gets so excited and upset.  GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO uhn mumble mumble.  Just too funny.  But she knows all the player’s names by sight.  And she knows which pitchers suck and which are good.  She yells at the TV and generally is having a good time.  I wish I liked baseball so I could say I am enjoying the game, but I can say I am enjoying this time with my mom.
