Tuesday finds me feeling much better. Plus I actually took a nap, something I haven’t been able to do since getting out of Mayo. Truly, I have good days and bad days and have no clue how the day is going to be in the morning when I wake up. Today had to be a good day, got things to do and feeling like crap when trying to do things just sucks.
This evening is my D&D game. I told ya all about what is happening in it yesterday. Just have to play it out and see what happens. As far as I know, only one of my players has made backup characters in case his character dies. That is kinda funny considering I am in general not a character killing DM. But it does happen from time to time.
I have no clue when my brother and mother are coming to visit. Jim called and asked if we could have Thanksgiving a week early. Teresa said sure, so they are coming sometime the week before Thanksgiving, when? I don’t know. Perhaps I will give mom a call this afternoon and ask.
Danny found 5 more players, so we are on for Thursday nights to play in his world. I get to be a player. I get to be a player. I’m happy about that. It’s been too long since I was a player. I believe we are starting this Thursday as a matter of fact.
Cori’s game is tentatively scheduled to start on the 14th, but I am not sure she has all the players she needs. Me, David, and Tabitha are not enough to take on the Mad King campaign. Haven’t talked to Cori much she may have players lined up by now. It’s all good, I can wait til she is ready.
And my roll20 game will probably be played on Monday evenings. I never watch RAW live, so Monday is usually a Music Choice night. So I am not giving anything up. And all things considered, gamers are not known for being Monday Night Football fans. So I should be able to find 5 or 6 players for Monday night. Then we will play Tales from the Yawning Portal. Gonna wait for Danny’s and Cori’s game to get going before I start another game, see how my mind handles running 1 and playing 2 before adding another game running.
Holidays are gonna throw everything off schedule anyway. Well, at least me off schedule, just looked at the calendar Christmas and New Years fall on Tuesday. Can’t expect people to play games on the Holidays. I’ll figure something out.
I can’t believe this year is almost over. Well, the first half drug on, but since August time has flown by. And yeah, we are still making trips to Mayo. Now once a month. WOOT. Time flies between the visits. Maybe because I am trying to make myself busy. But I am not busy yet and time is going so fast. Oh well, things are going well at least.
Oh, and for the record, Teresa and I voted absentee a couple weeks ago.
