Today I am going for blood tests to see if I have GvHD in the right shoulder. As it is right now, it hurts all the time and I cant lift it over my head. If it’s not GvHD, I have no clue what I did to my shoulder, if it is GvHD I have no clue what they do for it. Either way I should know by Friday or Monday.
It’s the day before Thanksgiving. I think Teresa got everything we need for her to make sweet and sour pork. Yup, no turkey this year, had turkey last week and have a ton leftover. So, Teresa decided and I agreed on sweet and sour pork.
LOL, D&D last night was humorous. I put them against a boat load of hobgoblins. And they chewed them up pretty good. The bard kept putting the normal hobgoblins to sleep. I rolled for total crap last night. Just horribly. And the final battle still took like 50 minutes. I did I think 3 points of damage total to the barbarian, that was my total all night. Really bad rolling on my part.
Then they went back out of the mine to tell the Pineville folk the hobgoblins were dead, only to find out the starving folk of Pineville at the party’s horses and donkey. The party was livid. I thought for sure they were gonna destroy the town. But no, they ended up walking away. Shows that this party is much more mature than us 16 year olds hold in our basement. We tore thru the town killing almost everyone. A few escaped and started the Pineville Liberation Organization (PLO) who hounded us for a while after. But back to my game, I was pleasantly surprised that the party walked away, I thought for sure after all they went thru, they would have we ape over the Pinevillians
I almost didn’t do the Pineville ending. There was just enough time on the clock when they killed the last hobgoblin. Decided to go ahead with it. One player said it was a nice swerve. Everyone else just moaned about having to walk 15 days back to the Hole. Oh well, whats done is done. Party is level 5 now. We lost our Warlock and gained a Wizard. And the Pacifist Bard actually attacked something, missed, but tried.
Now I have to come up with something real cool for next week. I have a few ideas already. Just need to pick one and run with it.
I am gonna talk to Teresa about me and Jim going to Scotland today. Yup, if I am gonna live (still small chance), I am gonna go in October. Teresa will understand, I’m sure of it, once I explain.
Think I’ll take a nap before I get ready for my blood work.
