Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.  It’s time to be thankful for the every things in our life.  Personally, I am thankful that I still have a life to live.  And I am thankful that Teresa is by my side every step of the way.  I’m thankful for Pucky and Mojo too cuz life would be a lot less interesting without our fur babies.  I am thankful for all the people and things that impact my life in a good way.  I am thankful for my mom and brother.  Like I said, I am just thankful for life.

Teresa is in the kitchen making our sweet and sour pork thanksgiving.  I would volunteer to help, but she would just chase me out of her kitchen.  Besides I reread the Facebook post of when we made sweet and sour pork the first time and I gave it a difficulty rating of 11.  So, I am in no rush to go try to help.

Tomorrow night, Teresa and I are going out to dinner with Drew and his wife Bridget.  I have only met Bridget once barely and Teresa has never met her.  Here’s to meeting new people.  We are going to the Fong’s Pizza place in Ankeny.  I have wanted to try Fong’s Pizza for 14 years.  I finally get to try it with my wife and close friend and his wife.   How cool is that?

My D&D players appear to be over the trauma of Pineville.  I have heard from everyone that they will be back and playing next week.  That’s good, I hate trying to find replacements.  They got a few cool items for clearing the mines including a strange whistle which radiates magic but is unidentifiable.  Right now, the whistle produces a low note and nothing happens.  Makes me think there is more to this puzzle.

The player who was playing a warlock couldn’t have picked a better time to ask to change to play a wizard.  The timing works so good, I barely have to do anything to make it happen in game.  Sometimes character changes are a total pain in the butt.  Not this one.

No D&D on this Thursday DUH.  So, Danny’s game doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen this week.  It’s ok.  There is always next week if he doesn’t go out of town again.  Danny got a new job, which is great for him, but it sucks for us when Danny has to go on travel.  So, here’s hoping he is around next week.

Oh man, the smell coming out of the kitchen is amazing.

Teresa ok’d going to Scotland sort of.  Enough to where I put the down payment on the trip.  See, I had to put the down payment on it now to save 600 bucks for their black Friday sale.  Saved my plane fare.  So it’s all good.  I just have to get healthy.

Disappointed that Freddie wasn’t #1 on this list.

I am 50 year old guy, who beat blood cancer but is getting his butt kicked by bone marrow cancer. At this point it appears I am dying. Married and in love with the most wonderful woman in the world (27 years). She has stood by me thru a lot of crap and I love her so.
