Well, I am over my anger at age discrimination in gaming. Yeah, does me no good to be upset. Still wish they would realize that my experience is invaluable, but heh, I will go back to running my games and letting any age play.
I decided what difficulty I am putting against my high levels on Sunday evening. I would tell ya but for most of you it wouldn’t mean anything and for my players they don’t need to know before hand. Leave it to it should be quite the challenge for the Elite Monster Kill Squad. I have thought long and hard about this.
We watched Blockers last night. It was a cute movie. John Cena was surprisingly funny. Teresa picked it out, I doubted I would like it, but dang it, I was hooked quick and thought it was good. Go figure. Maybe I am getting soft in my old age.
I miss my D&D games, wish they weren’t on hiatus. Yeah, I got the high level games starting this Sunday instead of the 13th. But it will be better when all 3 games are running. I’m bored most of the time. Getting prepared for the D&D games kept me somewhat busy at least for a bit.
Listening to the Offspring on Amazon Unlimited. I’m liking Amazon Unlimited, but its not very Unlimited. Seriously, the Offspring have released like 15 albums and AU only has 24 songs. Ho hum. At least they have some I guess.
Speaking of Amazon. I ordered the 2 game books and 1 starter kit and 2 sets of dice on the 30th. Now I knew it was a holiday so all bets are off for getting my 2 day prime shipping. The starter kit and 1 set of dice will be here on Thursday, the other set of dice will be here on Saturday. One of game books is shipped, but no set day of arrival, the other game book hasn’t shipped yet. Who knows if/when its gonna show.
BTW, I installed Honey a while back. It had never worked to find me a cheaper price until the other day. It saved me 4 bucks on one of the books. If you don’t know what Honey is, google Amazon Honey and install it. When you look at an item on lots of sites it’ll tell you if you are getting the best price or what the best price is. Sometimes it gets a little weird, like Honey offers GOLD on Sprint’s site. Weird. But on Amazon it works.
Twitter continues to be a fun diversion. I’m up near 150 followers. And no Cori, none of them are pornbots. The greater majority of them are D&D players and DMs who have given me ideas for my games. Which is way cool. I wish I had artistic talent, I would so get into painting miniatures or doing character sketches. But me and artistic talent just don’t coexist. But I can tell a good story and keep players entertained for hours. Yep, that is my gift.
