I don’t know what to call this blog

11 Days till Spring is officially here.  Today it rained and then it snowed for a bit.  Not a whole lot of melting, but it’s very wet now.  But since it precipitated most of the day, the talk of flooding started.  No, I don’t think it has flooded anywhere around here yet, but they are very aware that it’s gonna happen and gonna happen fairly soon.  It’s been several years since our last really wild flooding and that was from rain, this is gonna be from the super-sized ice pack we have.   A little melting happened yesterday, a little today, more tomorrow and then next day.  Should pretty much be gone by Wednesday or Thursday I would guess.  Assuming the Wintry Mix that hits Tuesday (update: Wintry Mix isn’t going to happen after all) doesn’t have any measurable snow fall.  Todays snowfall was less than an inch I would guess.  It was big fluffy flakes and 35 degrees out, so I don’t think much if any stuck really.

I’m tired.  Slept pretty good last night, but still tired, so I did a resleep.  I was still tired so I took an hour nap.  Teresa said I didn’t breathe good during my nap, thus I didn’t nap well.  I really should get new masks for my CPAP and use it.  I did sleep better when I did, and I was more rested during the day.  I wonder if my insurance will pay for them?  They had a fit about the last masks I got.  Well, I will talk with Teresa and see if she is for me using the CPAP again or not. Then we will worry about me getting me new masks.  My problem is mediums are too small and larges are too big.  So I got to go with the medium.  Yay rah.  Big nosed people get screwed again.

Teresa went to HyVee, the Wal-Mart, then another Wal-Mart.  Yes, 2 Wal-Marts.  Have to in order to get everything she wants.   She goes to the one in Grimes and then the one in West Des Moines.  Then brings home dinner.  Tonight is Orange Chicken from Panda Express, last time it was kind of gross, but the time before it was phenomenally good, so I was willing to take a risk.  She should be home in the next 20 minutes or so.

I ordered shirts from Vistaprint.  5 shirts were 70+ dollars after shipping.  Not too bad.  I can wear them at conventions, they have my new company logo and then say Ask me about TTRPG.ORG.  If people ask me as opposed to me approach them, I am not acting as a vendor and no convention police should harass me.  I will just be handing out flyers and business cards when ASKED about TTRPG.ORG.  I just want to get word out about my company without any hassles.  This should work.

I did NOT work on my website yesterday again.  I am being such a slacker.  I have plenty of time to work on it, but that plenty of time is slipping by day by day.  And before I know it, it’ll be times up.  So, I hope to get on it on Monday.  Got a whole lot to do.  A whole lot.  I wish it wasn’t as complicated as it’s turning out to be.  And I am realizing that the web development class I took really sucked.  I may need to hire an old associate named Justin to come in and spend a couple hours coaching me through the problems I am having.  But that costs money we really just don’t have.

Really looking forward to my new Dungeons and Dragons campaign that starts on Tuesday.  Four of the players are really solid.  One just had his computer fry, so I am not sure he will be playing.  And the final one won’t know if he can or can’t be at any given game and his fiancé might be at some games.  Really strange.  Anyhow, the last one is also a virtual neophyte to Dungeons and Dragons, but that’s ok.  I don’t mind noobs.  As long as they warn me they are noobs before we begin, which he did.  I think his fiancé knows more, but her work schedule is a mess.  So, I doubt she’ll be playing actually.  It’s all good, anyway it goes.

We are watching The Order on Netflix.  Kind of like Buffy meets True Blood meets a really good Werewolf flick.  However, in episode 9, it appears that the hero died.  Heh, I’m guessing it’s not going to be a perma-death.  He has to save the day still.  The three remaining werewolves can’t do it without him.  He decided that he wasn’t going to be dead, didn’t want to be dead and came back to life.  Now, all the heroes are going to try to save the day.  Really good show, seriously good show.  Well cast, excellent story, cool scenery, everything you want in a show.  If you have Netflix and haven’t seen The Order then what are you waiting for?
