8 days till Mayo 19 days till School

We tried to watch Bumblebee the movie on DVD last night.  It got good reviews.  It was graphically well done.  But the movie itself sucked.  Like I said, I tried to watch it, but half way through I brought out my laptop and started playing Skyrim while the movie was playing.  Normally I am one to watch a movie and not do anything else, this movie was just boring.  But I will give them a touch of credit, they had a killer soundtrack.  The movie was set in 1987 (I think) and the girl has an alternative binge to her music.  Actually got to hear “Girlfriend in a Coma” in a movie.  LOL.

My cough has settled into what I refer to as my chemo cough.  The cough I developed in 2015 and have had ever since.  The cough I can deal with.  It’s not a bad cough, it’s just an annoying little cough.  So, the other cough was probably a Virus of some form.   I get viruses a lot.  It ran it’s course and now things are back to normal.

My knee is still hurting.  I do not know what it wrong with it other than it hurts.  I don’t want to go back to Chris and have him try to guess what is causing the pain.  So I am just going to live with it.  It’s not a bad pain, unless I happen to kneel or put pressure on the knee, and really how often do you kneel?   I will just treat it gingerly and hope that it gets better over time.

Teresa picked up Chinese for dinner last night.  The Chinese place forgot our egg rolls and won tons, so Teresa went back.  She said they were super apologetic, credited back the price of the egg rolls and won tons, and then gave up two huge bags full of egg rolls and won tons.  SCORE.  Got to love when a restaurant hones up to their mistakes and does something to right it.  My Orange Chicken was phenomenal as always.  And I have leftovers for lunch today.

Skyrim, I deleted close to 1000 saves yesterday.  Saves from games I am not gonna ever go back and play.  Cleared the clutter.  Started an Argonian (lizard person) thief.  She’s a pick pocket, lockpicker by trade, and a fighter by necessity.  Again I have her teamed up with Lydia the tank.  They are a good team.  I’m trying to get the achievement for picking 50 pockets and picking 50 chest locks.  I think I will get it this time.  Need to see what other achievements I still have left to get.

Still have my Orc and my Khajitt.  I’ll get back to playing them, it’s just I wanted to try something new and different.  And the Argonian really is new and different.

School starts in 19 days.  I am excited and I am anxious.  Excited at the possibilities, excited about the unknown and what I am going to learn.  I am excited that I am taking a 5 week English class and an 8 week math class and a 10 week philosophy class.  5 weeks of English is hard core, I can do it.  My typing skills aren’t the greatest but I do touch type, I don’t look at the keys much.  As long as we are doing the work on computers I will be fine.

Math should be easy.  It was Business Math or Basic Math as my choices.  Basic Math would have bored me to tears, so I chose Business Math.   Not entirely sure what math warrants being called Business Math as opposed to just math, but it’s all good, should be really simple since I only needed a 14% on the ALEKS test to get into the class.  It certainly won’t be rocket science.

Philosophy is an enigma to me right now.  It’s Philosophy 101 Introduction to Philosophy.  How in depth will they get?  I have no clue.  I have no clue what to expect in the class, I wish it wasn’t online though.  But it’s all good.  I can handle this.

8 days till Mayo and yet another bone marrow biopsy.  It’s also the start of my baby shots.  They are going to writer a waiver for the school cuz the school requires you to have all your immunizations.   Don’t want to get kicked out because I don’t have all my shots.  Otherwise it’s a normal long visit.  Have to be there at 7:20am, which means we leave here at 3:00ish am.  Teresa doesn’t want to drive down the night before.  So we will leave early that morning instead.
