After all the sleep yesterday I had a miserable time sleeping last night. Duh, that is how it goes. I know that. But yesterday during the day I really couldn’t keep my eyes open, so what’s a guy to do? So, after waking up 20 times last night, I finally gave up and got up at 6:30am. Probably got about 4 hours of sleep total between all the wake ups. Between sleep apnea and benign enlarged prostrate its pretty bad some nights. I really do need my CPAP again. I surrender, I give up, I swear I will use it. Insurance won’t pay for the masks this time, but will in the future. Oh well. It’s just money. CPAP will help me sleep through the night and should help me not be so tired during the day.
I’ve decided to take this Ordainship seriously this time. I’m going to make a simple webpage. Going to advertise on some wedding sites. Gonna attempt to make a living performing weddings. Yep, Reverend Father Jeffrey Campbell is going to become a real thing I think. First I have to get my credentials, then I can make the website and get things rolling. It’s going to be cool performing weddings for people.
I got my 5 players for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Aravas will happen on Tuesday nights. I might have 7 players. I asked a couple before I got the 5th player, and they still haven’t answered. We shall see, I can handle 7, its one more than my normal maximum, but its doable I’m sure. I’m also pretty sure that the couple will say no. So I am making all my plans for 5. But 7 would be interesting. Anyhow, for those of you who read this and are playing in Aravas for the second time, we are starting with the waves of undead again. The whole thing is a major plot point that I don’t think can be skipped, so be ready for a big fight with undead the first night. I am doing it a little differently this time, but still a lot of undead, more if there are 7 players.
I’ve already started working on a campaign out of the Hole for Wednesday Dungeons and Dragons, even though I won’t be starting until august 21st. LOL, by then I will have a lot ready for them. It’s going to be cool to play this out again. The Hole is too good of a hub for adventuring to not be used. And getting to use it in a in your face 3D game is just too cool.
I think I might have went overboard on miniatures. I spent way too much money on Reaper Bone Minis. No, I did not go over my budget for the month, but I did spent more than I initially expected to. That’s me though. Anyhow, they will be here soonly I hope. I even got some beginner paint kits to learn how to paint miniatures. There are a ton of YouTube videos on how to paint a miniature. So, I should be ok. lol. I went with plastic miniatures because they were so much cheaper than the metal ones and looked just as cool in my opinion. Screw the purists out there. Once they are painted unless you pick them up to check the weight you really can’t tell. I do need a miniature box to cart these bad boys around. I am sure Amazon carries miniature boxes with the precut foam. So, I will get one from them. And for the record, I talked to my friend Shannon who pointed me in the direction I was already heading but I thank him for pointing me that way and confirming what I already thought.
After the 6.4 earthquake, Ridgecrest got a 7.1 (which has 10x the amount of shake). I am so glad I don’t live there anymore. They (the scientists) are talking that the big shakes aren’t over yet. There has been quite a bit of damage from those earthquakes. Part of me feels sorry for the people who live in Ridgecrest, but part me also thinks they knew the shakes were part of living in Ridgecrest, the earthquake capital of the world.
