Slow start of the week

I am so tired, haven’t had a good nights sleep in quite a while and I don’t see that changing until Friday night at the earliest.  If Teresa lets me buy new masks while we are at Mayo or she makes me order them from Mercy.  One way or the other, I am getting new masks for my CPAP.  Yeah, I have rambled on and on about it here in my blog, but I just don’t want to forget it on Friday and the best way to remember is to repeat about it again and again and this is the only place I can do this without people thinking I am more crazy that I actually am.

Well, I found a 6th person for my Dungeons and Dragons campaign reboot of Aravas.  Bruce (not of Bruce and Cori, who are my friends from the Gang) this Bruce is a young man who seems to be a really nice guy who is excited to play.  So returning for the reboot but playing different characters are Cori, Danny, and Jason.  New to me and my narrative here, Tabitha (Cori’s daughter), Nick and Bruce.  OK, so the first 3 and Nick have a lot of experience with Dungeons and Dragons 5e.  Bruce hasn’t played for a couple years.  And Tabitha, I think has played one 1 shot.  So, there is going to be some teaching of the game as we go along.  It’s all good.  I don’t mind at all.

Tomorrow is our Session 0 where people will get to introduce themselves and I will go over house rules and pet peeves.  The whole session 0 should take less than an hour.

Then on the 16th we will begin the game for real.

My Ordainship credentials are on the way.  So in a couple weeks, I will be trying to sell my services to wed peoples.  Well, I may have to buy some new clothes first.  We shall see.

My miniatures and paints are on their way too.  I am looking forward to having them and trying to paint them.  Trying being the key word there.  It’s gonna be fun, I hope.

And finally my miniature cases and battle mat should be on their way tomorrow cuz Amazon ships everything 2 day.  Everything listed here should arrive on Thursday.  Thursday is going to be a big day for me.  Lots of cool things coming all at once.

I didn’t play the WWE game today like I planned.   I was just too damn tired to try a new game.  I will play it soon as I paid for it today.  Maybe tomorrow.

Wednesday I go see about my nerves under my crowns that are starting to get infected according to my new dentist.  They are going to have to pop both crowns, redrill down and get rid of those nerve ends and basically give me 2 new root canals.  Fun.  None of that is happening this Wednesday.  This appointment is to take X-rays (again) and come up with a game plan my insurance will go for.  Yeah, right, insurance will say they will pay X amount for 1 root canal this year when I really need 2.  Oh well, will find this all out on Wednesday.

Wednesday evening is Dungeons and Dragons at Mayhem Comics and Games.  Why I didn’t do this sooner I do not know, but playing with people in 3D is so cool, I had almost forgotten how cool.  So, I am going back again and again until August 7 where I will be on the road to the Region and August 14 where I will be coming back from the Region.   Then it should be every week until the end of November, but between August 21st and November 20th, I hope to be running The Hole campaign there.  I hope I can run in person a good game still.  Just been so long since I have ran anything for live people.  Believe it or not, I am a little anxious about it.

Then Friday is our trip to Mayo.  We will be leaving here around 7:30am.  We shall arrive home between 6:30 and 7:30pm depending on traffic and the weather.  This trip I get my second round of baby shots.  I don’t recall which ones they are specifically, I just know they are gonna make my arms hurt like hell afterwards.

Then it is the weekend.  Time to plot out adventure for Tuesday night.  Oh, I said the 16th yesterday, AEW’s Fight for the Fallen is on the 13th… Saturday.  So I will be watching that.
