Chromosome analysis came in

So, at 5:04pm yesterday evening I go the results for the chromosomal analysis… They are clean and clear. Which means all my tests are good, I AM IN REMISSION. Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers, they work. It took a long time to get to this point and by rights I should be dead, but I am not dead, I am doing damn good. I am so happy right now, it’s ridiculous. Three and half cheers for modern medicine and dumb luck.

I went and saw Dr. Wehbe this morning (thus I am not writing my blog until 9:15 instead of 7:15). He is almost as happy as I am about my test results. Been working with Dr. Wehbe since April 2015, and I love the man like a family member. I’m glad I could make his morning. And the chemo nurses morning, and Dr. Wehbe’s nurses morning, and the lab people’s morning, and the receptionists morning. Yes, I stopped to tell almost everyone there my good news.

Tonight is Session 0 of my Dungeons and Dragons Chronicles of the Lost campaign. It was originally scheduled for the 11th, but I found the players quicker than anticipated and really want to get this going. No playing of D&D will happen tonight, its just a talk session. Which is cool, I have made that clear to everyone. Character creation finally happens tonight too. I am hoping with the rules I have set out things won’t get too complicated. The rules I set out are to help the players. Anyhow, tonight should be fun even with out playing the game. Also, if they get me their homework quick enough, I will be able to ready next Thursday instead of 2 Thursdays. So we can be playing as soon as the 11th, which would be cool.

I have the first 3 or 4 adventure’s set for Chronicles already, so I am ready to go. With the main story arc being so grand, the smaller arcs are just falling into place. Chronicles should feel more like a campaign than any campaign I have ran before, because of the main story arc. I figure the main arc will take them to level 15 or 16, which will be cool. Then the plan is to just keep playing until level 20 where D&D technically tops out.

And getting rid of Mr. High Maintenance was the right thing to do. Craig is so much more mellow and easy going. I actually think this is a good mix for the party. 3 people I know, 3 people new to me. 5 people with various experience levels, and 1 complete noob. It’s all good. So, my players that might be mentioned in the future are Cori, Danny, Dave, Kayla, Craig and Scott. They all seem like good people so far, and I don’t expect it to change.

Tomorrow is going to be a mellow day. The only things I have planned is a Facetime with Jenny at 4 and then jubal’s Dungeons and Dragons game in the evening. I’m doing good on energy this week. I think I will make it all week without a problem. Besides, its just playing my Bugbear Rogue, it’s all good.

I bought my new laptop to play games on, but I am burned out on every game I would want to play. So, I have a really powerful gaming laptop to write my blog on, to surf Facebook on, and to run Discord on. LOL. Oh well, maybe a new game will come out and I will like it. But right now, I could still be using my old (not really old) laptop and not have bought this one. Ah, hindsight is 20/20.

Well, it’s naptime so I am gonna cut this off, don’t think I have anything more to share anyway. So I hope you all are having as good of day as I am.
