It is definitely not a Manic Monday

It’s another boring Monday morning, the same since almost every Monday morning since I was declared disabled for being crazy (my ex-therapist hated when I said crazy). That is pretty much all of 17+ years of boring Monday mornings. I really hate Monday mornings. Don’t mind me, I am just cranky this morning. I’m gonna get off this subject now, on to happier things.

Last evening we played Jason’s Dungeons and Dragons Eberron campaign. We had a great time. The big elephant thing that he through at us was a total surprise. Again we triumphed against a challenging foe. Just this one big guy really was kicking our butts until Kellen got a sneak attack with his short bow, doing 56 points of damage which was exactly how many it points he had left after Tink put him in a magical cage, Luan tried to Disintegrate him, I hacked at him a lot, and Vakri floated a rock. This elephant guy was really tough, his skin occasionally turned impossible to damage. So some of my sword strikes did no damage. But that’s ok, I hit him a lot.

But before that, Vakri turned into a giant eagle and carried Kellen and Tink up into the air to scout. Well Tink took this opportunity to cast a pink light on Kellen’s back as a joke. However, they then flew around collecting up all the bag guys in the forest and running them off in a different direction from where Luna and I waited. Then they hid while the bad things passed, and then snuck to where we waited. We then semi-stealthly made our way out of the forest. In the peaceful valley after the forest was where the big elephant attacked.

Right after Kellen’s nice sneak attack shot. We ended the night cuz Jason had technical issues. But it was only 15-20 minutes before the end anyway. Tink did give us a big heal before we completely quit for the night. So all in all it was a good night.

So, I covered how I feel about Monday mornings, now lets talk about Monday evening. A night that used to contain Professional Wrestling, but Pro Wrestling looks stupid without a crowd. So I am not watching that. We have been watching The Order on Netflix, but there are only 2 episodes left for the season, so that will take 1 1/2 hours of my evening. Hopefully Teresa will find something else for us to watch cuz I have zero luck with the tv. Thus my boring life.

Next week, at least I have chemo on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Something to break up the monotony. Never thought I’d say I am looking forward to chemo, but I am.

I am 5 pounds over my goal weight. I blame Teresa’s cooking and leftovers; they are making me fat(ter). I talked with Chris (my PA-C) and he agreed that 205 is a good weight for me… now I sit at 210. So, I gotta figure out what not to eat to drop 5 pounds. I have been as high as 214, so I am not worried.

I am 50 year old guy, who beat blood cancer but is getting his butt kicked by bone marrow cancer. At this point it appears I am dying. Married and in love with the most wonderful woman in the world (27 years). She has stood by me thru a lot of crap and I love her so.
