I do not like Mondays

It is Monday July 6th, 2020. It is hot and miserable outside and cool and comfortable in the air conditioned house. Needless to say, I had nothing planned for today, cuz it’s a Monday and Monday’s generally suck.

Teresa finally got her sideways growing molar removed today. Her face is all swollen and she is in a lot of pain. But she is being tough and is actually doing work work now. No one can accuse my wife of being a wuss. She is handling this well enough. Personally, I would have tried to take a nap; napping is my solution to just about anything.

We didn’t play in Jason’s Eberron game last night. He was in too much pain. 10 more days my friend and things should feel better, I hope.

We started watching The Last Kingdom yesterday. We are now 4 episodes in and I am very hooked. Unlike Warrior Nun which was a Netflix new show, The Last Kingdom is on season 5 in Germany. I didn’t catch how many seasons of it Netflix has, but I hope its at least the 4 completed seasons. Teresa likes to bingewatch shows. I prefer to watch a couple and then take a day off, watch a couple, and so on. We usually end up bingewatching all Netflix shows.

I mentioned a while back that I had forgotten to ask for my donor’s name and address at my last Mayo appointment. Well, I sent them a message asking for it. Instead of getting a name and address as I expected, I got a message saying to send or bring whatever I want to send to my donor to Mayo where it will be forwarded to him. Bleh, I wanted to write a thank you letter to someone, not just a generic To my donor:. But I guess that is what I will have to do. Write a letter to an unknown person and take it up there when we go the end of November.

Yesterday I listed medical things and totally spaced. July 17th labs and appointment with Kristel. Then again in 4 weeks the same thing.

I started taking 2 Allegra a day and feel much better for it. I have stopped feeling sick in the evenings. I should have done this months ago. But it took me writing it out here to figure out that it was likely allergies causing the whole mess. Still having some problems with being around the dogs, but event that is not nearly as bad. The only side-effect to note is it makes you tired. LOL. Me? Tired? Bah, I promise I won’t sleep any more than I already do.

Speaking of which, it’s naptime. A nice short blog post.

I am 50 year old guy, who beat blood cancer but is getting his butt kicked by bone marrow cancer. At this point it appears I am dying. Married and in love with the most wonderful woman in the world (27 years). She has stood by me thru a lot of crap and I love her so.
