I am still alive just ask me

Today is January 21, 21. It has been a nice day here in Adel. It got up to 40 degrees today, which is by no means a record, however, it means a lot better than average for this time of year.

I want to firstly dispel any rumors that I have died already. No, I am still alive and somewhat kicking (when my legs/knees don’t hurt so much). I have entirely too many joints hurting to be listed amongst the dead at this time.

Second thing is Teresa will post in this blog when I do die. That way, you can be sure of the source. Personally, I am not quite ready to die yet So make sure you verify the source.

OK, now on with the blog. My knees, ankles, shoulders and hips all currently hurt… in that order. I use a walker to get around the house. L get my picc line cleaned and changed every Thursday. So yes, Did that this morning. Our at home nurse, Shanon, does a great job at it. We hold no complaint on her work or attitude.

Crazy thing though, no one told her that I was terminal until I did on her first visit with us. I would think that was something she would want to know. I sure would want to know before hand.

I am hooked on Skyrim again. I have not gotten higher than level 20 on any new character, I have started over and over again and again, but I have not followed thru to a higher level Maybe the newest orc I made will be a winner.

Mom is still here (another week) and claims to be having a good time. I know that Teresa and I are having a good time with her visiting.. Honestly I thought it was my fault things were often dull and boring. Heh, it’s obviously not me, Cuz I have a good roll going to keep people entertained when you are dying.

Speaking of dying, still don’t have a definite death date, just soon. And again I assure you that Teresa will be posting my final post and hopefully she will have some signal that it is from her and not someone else.

With that I will go get a video and sign off for the night.

I am 50 year old guy, who beat blood cancer but is getting his butt kicked by bone marrow cancer. At this point it appears I am dying. Married and in love with the most wonderful woman in the world (27 years). She has stood by me thru a lot of crap and I love her so.
